PRESS RELEASE
FFC Announces New Business Strategy by Adding Second Physician in Treatment Centers throughout the US
Dallas, TX - July 12, 2006
Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Centers, Inc. (FFC) has announced it will be changing its business strategy to support a two-physician model in several of its “Centers of Excellence”. With over 12 million Americans suffering from Fibromyalgia, 4 million from CFIDS/CFS, and an estimated 15 million suffering from fatigue-related issues, the numbers are rapidly growing in the United States alone. The conditions accompany a constellation of symptoms that can destroy healthy and active lifestyles, end rewarding careers, and devastate families.
As a leader in effective therapies for Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for the last 25 years, Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum, FFC’s Medical Director, will lead medical education programs for the company’s clinics as well as outreach to the public and media. Currently FFC operates 14 clinics throughout the US and by adding a second physician to several of its existing locations will help to support the increasing number of patients it has seen rising. “By moving towards a two-physician model, we feel it will better support the increase in number of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue patients we have begun seeing, while continuing to reinforce our position as the leading diagnostic and treatment Center,” said Dave Gnass, FFC’s Chief Executive Officer.
