PRESS RELEASE

Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Centers raises growth capital for expansion

Addison, TX --- October 11, 2005

Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Centers, Inc. (“FFC”), a clinic-based healthcare services provider, announced today that it received a $4.5 million equity investment led by SSM Partners.

Founded in 2003, FFC has previously been funded by Reservoir Venture Partners and angel investors. The new investment will allow the company to open additional clinics and strengthen its outreach to potential patients. Wilson Orr, an SSM Partners general partner, joined the company’s board of directors at the time of the funding.

“FFC provides much-needed services to a patient population that is underserved by the majority of the medical community. Their disciplined focus on patient satisfaction and positive outcomes is very appealing in today’s healthcare environment,” said SSM’s Orr.

FFC operates 13 clinics throughout the country and has treated more than 3,200 patients since opening its doors in December 2003.

“This investment will allow us to broaden our reach and build upon our position as the leading provider of care to patients suffering from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome,” said Bob Baurys, founder and Chairman of the company.

Commensurate with the investment, David Gnass assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of FFC. Prior to FFC, Mr. Gnass was CEO of National Specialty Clinics and COO of American Homepatient.
