"I Want to Be Well"

Posted By: FFC Patient Stories- Thursday, August 26 2010

altEvery patient I interview has a story of strength and courage that incorporates multiple strands of effort. One of those strands is, for lack of a better word, awareness. That we recover is inspirational. How we fortify ourselves along the path of recovery, how we believe in ourselves as we undertake the journey is also inspirational. I believe awareness and our attitude toward it have the power to influence the course of our treatment. What LaReese (whose story appears in this blog) shared with me has made a difference in how I participate in my treatment. I would like to share it with you.
