Susan has experienced Fibromyalgia symptoms most of her life. She hadn’t found all the answers she needed, although chiropractic was very helpful. Now she is rekindling enthusiasm and hope. Only five weeks into treatment with Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Centers, she has begun to experience marked improvement. “It’s the first time I’ve heard people talk about solutions instead of just patching up the symptoms.” Here’s Susan’s story.
After five months of treatment, my Fibromyalgia pain is gone. Yep, gone.
Every patient I interview has a story of strength and courage that incorporates multiple strands of effort. One of those strands is, for lack of a better word, awareness. That we recover is inspirational. How we fortify ourselves along the path of recovery, how we believe in ourselves as we undertake the journey is also inspirational. I believe awareness and our attitude toward it have the power to influence the course of our treatment. What LaReese (whose story appears in this blog) shared with me has made a difference in how I participate in my treatment. I would like to share it with you.
With the results of the most recent blood tests in, we’re making some changes and taking the next big step. It’s an incredible thing to see in black and white the evidence confirming why I’m feeling better in some areas.
“These people are fictitious. That could be anyone’s photograph.” This stuff gets back to me, and I think it needs addressing. In the experiential era of the internet, it's easy for people to manufacture their own identities and those of others. Let me assure you, I am real. The people I talk to are real.
