Personal experience and expertise

The Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Centers are founded on a synthesis of best practices from the personal and professional experiences of Dr. Kent Holtorf, a Chronic Fatigue patient and practitioner specializing in Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). His experience is combined with the founders’ ability to track and analyze the ongoing effectiveness of the treatment that is provided to over 17,000 patients.

We have first-hand experience of what it is like to live with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
CEO Robert “Bob” Baurys founded FFC after spending month after month and thousands upon thousands of dollars searching for answers and relief from his own five year struggle with Fibromyalgia.  Each doctor Bob saw helped a little in limited ways.  But Bob soon realized that healing the “whole person” would require effectively combining all the appropriate standard and alternative medical knowledge available.  

Through his research, Bob spoke with Dr. Kent Holtorf, who struggled with Chronic Fatigue. Then, with his business partner of many years, Susan Hrim RN, Bob began to build the first integrated treatment model to address the multi-faceted clinical issues underlying the symptoms of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue.
